7 DAYS ITINERARY FOR RAJASTHAN FROM DELHI

Day 1: Delhi Arrive in Delhi and check-in at hotel. After check-in, explore the contrasts of Old and New Delhi which includes the enormous Jama Masjid from which you can walk through the bazaars and narrow streets - a great way to absorb the sights and sounds of Old Delhi. See the monumental buildings set along wide boulevards of Lutyens' New Delhi, including India Gate and the President's residence.

Day 2: Delhi – Agra (225 kms / 04 hrs) After breakfast start you day with a visit to Rajghat, Lotus temple (closed on Monday) - this distinctive lotus shaped marvel in Marble is a symbol of peace. Further continue to Qutab Minar - a UNESCO World Heritage site – the tallest brick minaret in the world, at 238 feet (72m).

Later leave for Agra (205 kms in approx 4 hours). Arrive in Agra and check in to your hotel. Later visit Agra Fort – a UNESCO World Heritage site. The elegant building reflects an interesting synthesis of Hindu and Central Asian architectural style, it was built by Emperor Akbar.

Day 3: Agra – Ranthambore via Bharatpur Today visit Taj Mahal - a UNESCO World heritage site at sunrise (closed on Friday). The 17th century Taj Mahal is often called a poem in stone. If so, the mausoleum is a love poem - created by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his favorite wife Mumtaz Mahal. It took 22 years to be completed and was designed and planned by a Persian architect Ustad Isa. 

Apart from its stunning design balance and perfect symmetry, the Taj is also noted for its elegant domes, intricately carved screens and some of the best inlay work ever seen. Return to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, continue your tour, heading east to the ancient, abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri. After exploring with a local guide, drive to nearby Bharatpur railway station. Board your train and travel to Sawai Madhopur - a journey of just over two hours. This is the nearest station to Ranthambhore National Park - your location for the next two nights.

Day 4: Ranthambore Head into Ranthambhore Park twice to enjoy game drives through the rugged terrain which is home to lots of wildlife, including the elusive Bengal tiger. Your game drives are early in the morning and then early evening, when temperatures are at their coolest, and animals at their most active. 
Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

Day 5: Ranthambore – Jaipur (180 kms / 03 hrs) Enjoy your final game drive in the park this morning before a leisurely breakfast back at your hotel. After breakfast drive to the Pink City of Jaipur (180 kms in approx 03 hours). On arrival, check in to your hotel. This late afternoon you have the chance to explore the bazaars with your private guide - get behind the scenes of the local markets with the chance to meet local traders and artisans.

Day 6: Jaipur After breakfast, gain an insight into the fascinating city of Jaipur today on a private guided tour. Explore the Palace of the Winds, the Jantar Mantar Observatory and the impressive Amber Fort located 11km (6.8 miles) outside the city. Back at the hotel, you might like to watch the evening puppet show which is shown on certain days of the week.

Day 7: Jaipur Today drive back to Delhi, a journey of approximately five to six hours


6 DAYS ITINERARY FROM DELHI TO RAJASTHAN


Day 1: Delhi – Mandawa (280 kms / 06 hrs) Arrival at Delhi Airport and drive to Mandawa. Arrival & check in to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Meals included: Breakfast, Dinner.

Overnight at hotel. 

Day 2:Mandawa – Jaipur (170 kms / 03 hrs) After breakfast, check out from the hotel & visit every street and house which are painted with colorful frescoes. Also visit Mandawa Fort/Castle then the Hanuman Prasad Goenka’s Haveli, Jhunjhunwala’s Haveli, Saraf Haveli, Murmuria’s Haveli, Raghunath Ji Temple, Ladia Haveli, Chokhani and Newatia Havelis and Lord Krishna Temple. Later, proceed to Jaipur & check in to the hotel. If time permits, visit to the local market, exploring the famous bazaars of Pink City.

Meals included: Breakfast, Dinner.

Day 3: Jaipur - After breakfast visit Amber Fort, ascending to the fortress on Elephant back and descending by Jeep ride. Also visit City Palace, Observatory, Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds. Later, visit Nahargarh and Jaigarh Fort. In the evening gather for Aarti Ceremony at Birla temple

Day 4: Jaipur – Agra (250 kms / 05 hrs) After breakfast, check out from hotel & drive to Agra enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri, ancient abandoned city. Later, proceed to Agra & check in to the hotel.
