Palace or the water palace of Siliserh is now available for the tourists. It is
been converted into an RTDC Tourist Bungalow. The Siliserh lake is located only
about 11 Km from Alwar city.

The calm and
peaceful lake is nestled in the hills away from the hustle bustle of the city.
The dazzling lake covers an area of about 10.5 Square Km and is surrounded
by thick forest and splendid cenotaphs on its bank.

Tourist Bungalow was in fact royal hunting lodge /palace which was built in
1845 by Maharaja Vinay Singh for his Queen ShilaIf you are looking for a mesmerizing
and peaceful weekend then Siliserh lake is one of the attractive spots to
enjoy.

Alwar is well connected by National Highway from Delhi and Jaipur. Delhi Jaipur Shatabadi Express in the morning is the best option to reach Alwar. It takes less than three hours to reach Alwar from Delhi. Buses to Alwar are available from ISBT Sarai Kale Khan, ISBT Kashmere Gate and Bikaner House New Delhi.
