Neemrana Fort is closely located from Delhi Gurgaon and Jaipur. The hospitality, the ambience and services at the Neemrana Fort-Palace are utterly superb. The rooms are magnificent and infact give you the real feel of a Palace as they are elegantly done and you are amidst the period furniture and antiques. Neemrana hence showcases styles dating back to the15th century.

You can see the Delhi Sultanate architecture in Neelam Mahal and at the same time can also witness the 19th century influence in Colonial Francisi Mahal to the contemporary Deva Mahal. Its up to you in which era you want to go back and get the feel.

During 1464 the Neemrana fort palace started taking its shape, under the supervision of Chauhan overlords. Till 19th century the additional structures were added resulting in the fort palaces becoming bigger covering over three acres. Due to lack of maintenance and proper care the palaces almost had become a ruin in the 20th century. However it got a new leash of life in 1986 when it was taken over for conversion to a heritage resort.
The fort-palace has around 46 luxurious rooms and suites which are mostly occupied. The place is so peaceful that it is far more than a stress buster. The Silence of the place is so conducive to relaxation..

Places to See in Neemrana and things to do
The tourists have various options for fun and entertainment in Neemrana. Apart from the enthralling nine-tiered fort-palace you will see so many charming things here. There is Tibari which is a room fronted with three arched gates. From here you can have the beautiful view of the palace building.  Suraj Pol is the name given to the main gate.

Holi Kund, a lotus pool is mesmerizing too there is a terrace beside Aranya Mahal from where you can get unique views. You can also enjoy swimming or can have an Ayurvedic massage at the spa, and go to the gym. There is a small library in the reception and there is a games room with chess, carrom and cards.

You can also take a walk to the nine-storey deep baoli just close to Neemrana Fort. Camel ride or camel cart is some breathtaking options to reach there. Close to the Baoli you can also see an amazing small watchtower, a 500-m climb away. There is a village close to the forts also known as village silversmiths, who still use the age old and traditional angithas (clay furnaces). Watching them work is a treat to the eyes.

If you don’t want to stay in the palace or could not afford to do so still you can get to see it as the tourists are welcome inside the Neemrana fort-palace during the day (9 am-5 pm). The entrée fee for the Neemrana fort-palace is 200 per head for 2 hrs (please check the fort-palace for the latest entrée fee).
